Heart's Garden ~ The Blue Flower
Here is a garden you can enjoy all year round! The inspiration for this design comes from some of the wonderful flowers (and a butterfly) native to Florida.
Stitch count is 182 wide x 197 high and the model is stitched with one strand of thread over two strands of linen. The model is stitched on 40 count "Bambi" linen from xJudesign. This is a very lightly mottled neutral fabric and the closest DMC equivalent is 3864. (The closet substitution I could find was Wichelt Toasted Almond.)
Threads Used: DMC - 522, 898, 3345 Weeks Dye Works - Blue Heron, Purple Haze, Cranberry Ice, Cypress (*), Curry, Carrot, Clockwork (*) Classic Colorworks - Blackbird (*), Mulled Berries Cottage Garden Threads - Sunbeam, Meadow (*), Nimbus, Blue Banded Bee, Leatherbound (*) When stitching with two strands on 16/32 count fabric you may need two skeins of this color.
